So after our bungee jump at Lake Taupo yesterday we drove to Waitomo so that we could see the famous Glow Worm Caves! You don a wetsuit, helmet and light and descend into the darkness of the caves - Gee's worst nightmare (especially after the mentioned the eels!). Once deep in the water, we climbed into our black rubber rings and we black water rafting through the caves. The glow worms coat the ceiling creating a starry sky image and you float below them on the river, occasionally going over a waterfall! Once Gee had relaxed, she loved it - just like me! There aren't many photos as it was pretty dark but I will grab one form the internet to show you what I mean!
